Help us to help the needy
Most of us have the privilege of getting three meals a day, with moderate education to earn a comfortable living. But there are our fellow Indians who are less privileged not to get any or some of these. We may not be able to out rightly go and help them, given our present lifestyle. But where there is a will, there is a way. It need not be a huge sum from your pocket, but a kind gesture from what you can.
You can contribute in any one/all of the following:
Money
You may contribute any amount in the following ways:
1. Directly e-transfer/deposit the cash/cheque in the account name: Sarvajana Hitam, Account No: 005601027185, Bank: ICICI Bank, Branch: Mission Street, Pondicherry, IFSC Code: ICIC0000056, MICR no: 605229002. Incase of e-transfer, please remember to write your name as transaction remarks or notes and drop an e-mail to shanthi@sarvajanahitam.org
2. Post the DD/Cheque to the Trust's address:

141, Easwaran Koil Street.
Pondicherry - 605001.
with your name and address, e-mail id specified in a note.
Our donations are exempted under Section 80G as per Income Tax Act 1961.
If you are interested to contribute a specific amount monthly or bimonthly or for any specific period of time, please let us know the amount and duration so that it would be helpful for our budgeting of activities.
Specific Cause
There are contributors who would like to contribute for a specific cause such as a poor child’s education or an abandoned oldster’s food or a poor youth’s marriage, etc. Some would like to contribute on specific occasions like one’s anniversary or festivals. In such a case, please feel free to specify the cause/occasion while contributing and we shall execute the needful and inform you the details.
Materials
Willing contributors can contribute toys, books or any useful items and can be assured it would reach the needy.
Volunteering
You may volunteer for any of the listed activities or come up with a new activity. It can be like taking a seminar or accompanying us during distribution or gathering and providing related information or looping us to interested contributors/volunteers. Any suggestion/advice for any new/current activity is also welcome.
To bring these activities to reality, we require your help and support. Howsoever meagre is your contribution from your prospective; it would be of immense help to us. Every drop makes an ocean. We value that every drop!
